Story
------

Players explore the intricacies of Overture alongside characters Elise, Franz, and Frederic, each forging their individual paths driven by a common motif: a damaged piano.

The narrative immerses players in a world where magic manifests uniquely within individuals, having evolved into sophisticated mechanical devices. As industry advances at a rapid pace, societal divisions deepen, with the working class bearing the brunt of this technological revolution. Amidst this upheaval, rumors of insurrection simmer beneath the surface.

The story also introduces a supernatural limitation: healing magic cannot restore inanimate objects. Franz, a final-year student working on an innovative project to heal such objects—namely pianos—receives unexpected financial backing from Frederic’s father through Elise’s efforts to repair her broken piano using her healing magic.

Unbeknownst to the characters, a revolutionary movement is clandestinely gaining strength, threatening to disrupt their lives and reshape Overture’s destiny.

This visual novel challenges conventional notions of morality and loyalty, prompting players to consider whether Overture requires upheaval or stability.

Characters

• Franz: A final-year student investigating healing magic’s effects on inanimate objects. Privileged by attending a prestigious magical science academy and entrusted with groundbreaking research, Franz’s perspective begins to shift upon forming an alliance with Elise.
• Frederic: An aristocrat, Sorcerer athlete, and son of Lord Godwin. Characterized by arrogance and elitism, Frederic hides complexities that even he may not fully understand. His immediate infatuation with Elise motivates him to support her ambitions—but pride often complicates his intentions.
